| Elderberry Jam is
a 5 piece band based in Portland Maine. Elderberry consists of Steve
Guilmet (Keyboards & Vocals), John Moran (Guitar & Vocals),
Mark Mckelvey (Bass & Vocals), Chris Dow (Drums &
Vocals) and Scott Belongie (Percussion). A wide range
of musical influences merge to create an eclectic sound that is all at
once new and yet somehow familiar. Their music has been described as "Brain
Taffy".
In 1993 Elderberry Jam recieved the honor of playing on the H.O.R.D.E. Tour with bands such as Blues Traveler and Widespread Panic (Click Here to see a Flyer!). This past summer, at Tramps in NYC, Elderberry had special
guest Warren Haynes (former guitar player for the Allman Bros and
presently w/ Govt Mule) sit in with them (Thanks Warren!)
Elderberry has also played with bands such as Max Creek, From Good Homes, Jono Manson Band, Percy Hill, and the Eels. Currently, Elderberry Jam is hard at work on their independant CD as well as putting together an extended Spring Tour. Please feel free to email us with any questions.
